Harvard Student Agencies Tutoring
"HSA Tutoring is committed to empowering students through personalized academic support and to connect students with passionate Harvard undergraduates who can guide them toward success in various subjects, including standardized test preparation, college admissions, and general academic tutoring."

What makes HSA Tutoring different from other educational agencies?
We are an entirely student-run nonprofit, meaning we not only have more recent experience with the process, have stronger relationships with the students we work with, and also have more affordable rates. All fees are paid directly to our student tutors, student management team, operational costs, and Harvard's Financial Aid Office.
How are tutors matched with students?
You have the choice! Search through our tutor matching search engine to find the best tutor for you. You can also reach out to the team for us to help you.
Do the hours expire?
No.
How many hours should I buy?
For rising seniors/current seniors, we suggest 10-15 hours to finish the entire application. For juniors and younger, because our hours do not expire, we suggest purchasing 20 hours for cost-saving benefit. Those hours will be flexibly used to address different concerns at different stages of the application (9th will be foundations and strategy, 10th will be building extracurriculars, 11th will be maximizing extracurriculars and connecting the story, etc.).
Do the hours apply to other subjects?
Hours cannot be used across different package types, meaning college counseling hours cannot be used for SAT, or for academic tutoring. However, SAT and ACT hours are interchangeable, and Academic tutoring hours are also interchangeable (e.g. 10 hours of math tutoring could also be used for english or any other academic subject we tutor).
